When you sign up for a trial or purchase a package, Hope & Honey will provide you with two sets of login information.
The first set of login information is for you and you alone. It will consist of a username and password that you will need to use in order to create or change your wedding website. You take full responsibility for keeping these details secure and confidential.
A second password is assigned for your wedding website, and your guests will need to know what it is in order to log in and view the site you have created. You take full responsibility for distributing this second password.
You should note that Hope & Honey cannot control who accesses your site, nor can we control their actions, and there may be instances where third parties access your site without your consent. Your guests may, for example, distribute your website details and password to others without your knowledge.
If this is a concern for you, you may wish to advise your guests (in the nicest possible way) that you would strongly prefer that this information was kept private - or at least ask them to check with you before distributing the password to others.
Note also that the people who access your site may be able to copy or store the information you post, and as such may be able to view it after your site is removed from the internet.
Hope & Honey are very serious about security and absolutely committed to your privacy, but cannot be held responsible if your site or content is viewed by unauthorised persons, nor if any security or privacy measures are breached. You should contact us immediately if you feel that the log in details for your account or your personal wedding website are no longer secure.
